Mine Planning Engineer

Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Mining Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Surface Mining Engineering.
Certificate in Project Management.
Solid understanding of surface mining operations.
Experience in overseeing major construction projects and running mining operations.
Experience in managing mining production processes.
Experience in managing monthly budgets and keeping detailed records.
Training and supervising staff.
Monitoring and evaluating surface mining performance.

Cost Accountant

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of five years’ Costing experience, with three years in a supervisory role.
ICAZ membership an added advantage.
Experience in carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.
Experience in performing account reconciliations.
Experience in preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management.
Class 4 Driver’s License.

Workshop Chargehand

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Diesel Plant Fitting or equivalent in subjects related to Vehicle and Plant Maintenance.
10 years’ experience in Diesel Plant Fitting.
5 years’ experience as a foreman or supervisor in mining and construction.
Solid understanding of mobile earthmoving equipment.
You must have completed a full vehicle apprenticeship.
You MUST have a full Driving Licence for all vehicle categories.

Production Foreman (FBL) x2

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Mining Engineering or Equivalent
Full Blasting License.
7 years’ experience in supervising drilling and blasting operations.
Experience in charging and monitoring efficiency to minimize production costs.
Must have traceable seven years’ experience in open cast mining production.
Must have a Class 2 Driver’s License.

Mining Surveyor

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Mining Survey or Equivalent.
  • 5 years’ experience in mining survey.
  • Class 4 Driver’s License.
  • Proven knowledge of GIS systems.

 

Administrator

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Accounting/Finance or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mining and construction.
  • Proven success in office administration.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Class 4 Driver’s License an added advantage.


Data Capturer

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Accounting Studies/Inventory or equivalent required.
5 years’ previous experience in a secretarial role.
Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
Ability to use word processing applications and document management software with a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping.
Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
Ability to prepare stock inventory and process office bills.
Class 4 Driver’s License an added advantage.

Procurement Officer

Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Procurement and Supply Management.
4 years’ experience in procurement.
Extensive knowledge in inventory management systems.
Knowledge of mining supply management.
Clean class 4 Driver’s License.

Diesel Plant Fitter x2

Qualifications and Experience
Class 1 Journeyman.
Apprentice trained.
Understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatics.
At least five years’ work experience with Drill rigs, loaders, graders, excavators and dump trucks.
Class 2 Driver’s license a must.
5 O’ Levels including English and Maths.

Auto Electrician

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND in Auto Mechanics.
  • Extensive knowledge in electrical circuitry.
  • At least 5 years work Experience in the same field.
  • 5 O’ Levels including English and Maths.
  • Clean Class 2 Driver’s License.

Boilermaker

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND in Boilermaking.
  • Completed a full apprenticeship program.
  • 8 years’ traceable experience in Boilermaking and fabrication.
  • Experience in welding in a mining environment.
  • Class 4 Driver’s License an added advantage.

 

Tipper Drivers x12

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 O’Levels including English Language.
  • Class 2 Driver’s License
  • Defensive Driving Certificate is a must.
  • 5 years’ experience as a dump truck operator.


Excavator Operators x6

Qualifications and Experience
Certificate in Excavator Operation.
Clean Class 2 Driver’s License.
6 years’ experience as an excavator operator.
5 O’Levels including English Language.

Grader Operator

Qualifications and Experience

  • A qualified person with at least 4 years experience operating a grader.
  • Multiple skilled candidates are encouraged to apply.
