Learnership Programme – GSO NQF3 (General Security Practice- SASSETA Accredited)

Learnership Overview
SVA has its own Learning Academy and have many training programs available for the coming year. These learnership programs is designed to upskill potential and promising unemployed youth who can apply to participate in our training sessions. People with disabilities and unemployed individuals are encouraged to apply because you are the main reason why the program was created to start with. The program will last for one year (12 months).
The Requirements
There are several basic requirements that all candidates need to meet in order to qualify for this General Security Practice Learnership NQF 3 program. The requirements are:
- Candidates must be a South African citizen – must be proven with a valid and valid ID document
- Candidates must be 28 years and younger
- Candidates may not have any criminal record – will be verified via a criminal check during the screening process
- Candidates must have a Grade 12 Certificate with a pass level of at least level 4 in English as well as a pass in Mathematics or Maths literacy
- Priority and preference would be given to disabled candidates
- Priority and preference would be given to candidates who already have a PSIRA grade C.
Other requirements would include:
- Candidates must be unemployed
- Candidates must be able to present a professional attitude and image
- Candidates may not take part in any training, learnership, or educational learning programme during the learnership periodHow to Apply
Besides sending your application letter, you will also need to accompany it with supporting documents which would include:
- PSIRA Certificate
- A comprehensive and updated CV
- A certified copy of your South African ID document
- A certified copy of Senior Certificate or Matric Certificate
- A reference or testimonial
Be advised that these supporting documents must be complete. A missing copy will result in the application being ignored and/or rejected.
