Gomora Ntokozo Actor Is A Uni Of Cape Town Graduate In Economics
He might play a troubled teenager with mommy and daddy issues, among a dozen others, but in real life, actor Ntobeko Sishi is as strait laced as they come.
Ntobeko Sishi is well known for his role on Gomora as Ntokozo, a rebellious and troubled youth, who is still figuring out his life.
While he might resemble a teenager on TV, the Gomora actor is 23 years old and has already completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Capetown.
Ntobeko Sishi is actually a Bcom Economics and Finance graduate at the best university in the whole of Africa, University of Cape Town.
He also has a post grad diploma in entrepreneurship, boy does he take his studies seriously!
The Gomora actor admitted to Drum magazine that he is academically gifted, but he always had a passion for the arts
I have a BCom in economics and finance and a post grad diploma in entrepreneurship. I knew I was academically inclined but I have a love and passion for the arts. When I was at university I auditioned a lot around Cape Town but most of those did not work out for me because they would require touring and I was heavily focused on my academics,” .
Recently his Gomora character, Ntokozo’s storyline ended in tears, when his parents, Gladys and Melusi disowned him.
Lately Ntokozo has been a little terror, he kept on pushing his parents’ buttons, from talking back, stealing, displaying violent tendencies and going out of his way to embarrass them.
His cry for parental attention had gone above and beyond the line, such that Gladys and Melusi cut him loose.
Ntobeko Sishi has been delivering the angsty teen with so much precision, that fans are divided between putting the fear of the Lord in Ntokozo and adopting him so they can parent him the right way.
