Family Hurt After Seeing Uzalo’s Thobile Back On TV After ‘Almost Killing Their Son’
A KwaMashu family is still in pain after seeing Uzalo’s Thobile back on their small screens.
To them, she’s a cold blooded killer who almost took away their potential bread winner and never apologized.
Uzalo’s Thobile, who’s real name is Nokuthula recently made a comeback on SABC 1 ‘s daily drama together with GC (played by Khaya Dladla).
This move by Uzalo’s producers was set to revive the show’s boring storyline that saw it losing millions of viewers since last year.
But as thousands of fans celebrate this comeback, Maphalala family in KwaMashu is reeling in pain as they see Nokuthula Mabika
It is said that in August of 2019, Uzalo’s Thobile fatally injured Sanele Maphalala with her BMW on Dumisani Makhaye Road in KwaMashu.
Sanele spent 2 months in coma after the accident. He was left mentally disturbed and permanently disabled after being discharged from hospital.
The family says that Nokuthula Mabika didn’t come back to apologise to the family after the incident.
They haven’t found closure since the incident. And now that she’s back on TV, the family claims it has been the hardest moment for them as their old wounds have been reopened.
Speaking about Thobile’s comeback on Uzalo, Maphalalas said they have since decided to stop watching Uzalo for their own benefit.
“We were trying to forget about what happened and move on with our lives even though Sanele’s condition hasn’t changed,” the family added.
