The Eskom Youth Employment service is a public initiative led by the Presidency. It is set to address the unemployment crisis facing youths I n the country. Eskom will create work opportunities for the youth of South Africa in line with the BBBEE definition.
In the same mind, Eskom Youth Employment service invites young South Africans who want to enter the job market to join them for a Learnship programme. They will get the opportunity to get their first work experience in the energy industry. If successful, you will be given a 12-month contract to work in one of the Eskom Operations in all South African Provinces.
Minimum Requirements for the internship:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Between 18 to 34 years of age
- Should not have been employed by a single employer for a year on a fixed-term contract
- You must not be studying full time in the period of the Learnship
- Should not have registered or participated in the YES initiative before
