Technician Network Surveillance

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs shift handover/takeover procedures and routines.
  • Monitors all real-time faults reported by network nodes through network management systems.
  • Creates and dispatches Tickets to various functions in the business.
  • Track handling SLA compliance of faults and tickets dispatched to handlers.
  • Receives cleared Tickets and follows up resolved Tickets for closure.
  • Escalates/assigns unresolved faults to 2nd Level Support functions.
  • Performs initial diagnosis and restoration of network elements through remote maintenance using the Known Error Database information.
  • Provides regular network updates and broadcasts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide key reports (e.g., DCTA reports, Critical incidents, Availability reports) to stakeholders.
  • Submits inputs for weekly, monthly, annual and ad-hoc reports.

Required skills

1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar or related environment

Engineer Service Support x1

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to meeting and maintenance of KPIs through service desk and application support.
  • Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed.
  • Periodically review software log(s); track performance and identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement to services.
  • Evaluates problem areas and decides corrective actions to improve performance and /or maintain reliability, security and integrity of Enterprise Business services.
  • Provide service management and handover for all leased services to Enterprise Business partners/customers.
  • Contributes to the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in relation to contracted services, custom build solutions and managed services.
  • Coordinates projects leading to the implementation, commissioning, maintenance and upgrading of ICT services.
  • Provide preliminary reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including capacity management, service desk performance reports and systems performance against revenue lines.
  • Continuously assess customer feedback on technical issues and make/recommend necessary improvements to existing ICT services.
  • Identify user-training needs, Implement and facilitate workshops and training courses with reference to Enterprise Business service delivery to close user-knowledge gap.

Required skills

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides critical high-level operational support to the COO by tracking and helping prioritise activities that requires the COO’s attention.
  • Manage and track special projects commissioned and directed by the COO and deemed critical to advancing organizational priorities.
  • Provides research & documentation of actionable business strategies and plans to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO.

  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders to maintain the company’s positive image on behalf of the COO.
  • Arranges and coordinates executive meetings.
  • Secures minutes of the COO’s meetings and assists the COO in tracking of action points.
