Dr Dre’s divorce saga has opened a can of worms after his estranged wife Nicole Young made a series of explosive allegations against him. Nicole, 50, has sensationally alleged that the hip hop mogul was very violent and abusive towards her and even went to the extent of holding a gun against her head.

The talented rapper and music producer is currently recovering in the ICU following a brain aneurysm and is expected to leave the hospital soon.

Nicole who has been married to Dr Dre for the past 24 years filed divorce papers in which she accused him of physical and emotional abuse throughout their marriage. She made the allegations in response to Dr Dre’s declaration last week in which he claimed, ‘at no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety.’

Responding to the declaration, Nicole outlined numerous allegation incidents in which she was physically or emotionally abused by her estranged husband.

‘I have explained in excruciating and painful detail the abuse that Andre has perpetrated against me over our more than 25 year-relationship…

‘Andre held a gun to my head on two occasions, on January 8, 2000, and November 20 2001,’ she claimed. ‘Andre has punched me in the head/face on two occasions, in 1999 and on January 8, 2000.

‘Andre kicked down the door to a bedroom in which I was hiding from his rage in 2016,’ she added. ‘Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

‘Andre conspicuously omits the fact that the police were called in approximately September 1995, shortly before our marriage, after he slammed me up against a wall and lifted me off the floor by my neck.

‘During our marriage, I considered calling the police several times but, as I fell deeper into the abusive relationship, my fear of Andre outweighed any confidence I had that the police could help me.’

Nicole and Dre have been feuding since June when the two split up. Nicole is fighting for Dre’s estimated $1 billion empire.

Since the split, Dre has been giving her $293,000 a month in support. However, she is fighting to get the court to force Dre to pay her $2 million per month, arguing that she deserves to continue the lavish lifestyle she had been enjoying before the divorce. She also wants Dre to pay $5 in legal fees.

The Daily Mail reports that after Nicole’s scathing declaration, Dr Dre agreed to give her a lump sum of $2 million in temporary support till their next court hearing in April.
