Dr Dre Out Of ICU After Brain Aneurysm
Rapper, producer, and entrepreneur Dr. Dre is out of the woods and recovering.
Early reports stated that the hip hop mogul had been hospitalized and in intensive care after suffering a brain aneurysm. The 55-year-old music executive, whose real name is Andre Young, initially did not share why he was hospitalized. According to reports, doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding and are performing several tests.
In an Instagram post, the billionaire rapper thanked friends and fans for their well wishes. A black and white photo of the mogul in the studio was shared. He wrote, “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I am doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon,” Dr. Dre wrote in a post on his verified Instagram account. “Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

He is currently in the middle of a heated divorce battle with his estranged wife of 24 years, Nicole Young. In the latest, he claimed in court documents that they stayed the night together for their anniversary in May, despite being separated and her claims that she’s afraid of him. Nicole wants $2 million in temporary spousal support and $5 million for her lawyer fees.
In the latest update authorities reportedly responded to an attempted burglary at Dr. Dre’s home.
According to reports by TMZ four men were allegedly seen at his Pacific Palisades home around 2 in the morning Wednesday. The break-in comes hours after the seven-time Grammy winner was hospitalized. Security saw them searching the house and proceeded to call the police. The four men were arrested for attempted burglary and are currently in custody.
