Celebrity Reactions To Bill & Melinda Gates’ Split
Following news of Bill Melinda Gates’ breakup, 27 years into their marriage, some of South Africa’s biggest names have weighed in on the split.
The couple announced the news in a joint social media statement where they also asked for privacy as they transition on to the next phase of their lives.
“After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives. We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in the next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life”

Earlier iHarare reported that multi-award-winning rapper, AKA is set to make his first live performance since the tragic death of his wife Anele Tembe.
The rapper is billed to perform at the 947 Huawei Joburg Day on 28 May.
