Collaboration, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Lead – (699)

 

Candidates must have the following key qualifications: 

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a related field highly preferred plus a minimum of (3) three years relevant work experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required.
  • Professional experience to include qualitative and quantitative research and assessments, report writing and presentations, M&E systems development and implementation, and facilitation of knowledge-sharing workshops or events.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the integration of CLA into field programming is required, experience conducting such programming in Zimbabwe or a similar country context is strongly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of external stakeholders including the host country’s government, international donors, and the private sector.
  • Experience developing and applying resources to create, capture, organize, and share knowledge across technical sectors, multiple donors, private investors, and within project activities and staff.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture, livelihoods, resilience, and/or food security programming preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing dynamic feedback systems to capture experiential learning and unintended consequences.
  • Experience with international donor projects, especially USAID and Food for Peace, preferred.
  • Strong English language skills required, knowledge of languages spoken in Matabeleland North preferred but not required.

Policy Advisor (Food Safety) – (698)

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master’s degree in agriculture, food science, food safety, public health, or a related field of study or equivalent work experience required.  Certifications in food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO a plus.
  • At least eight years of experience working in food safety and related issues in Rwanda;
  • Demonstrated expertise in food safety management systems is required, including international food safety standards and regulations, regulatory enforcement, inspection and certification systems, science-based risk assessments, foodborne illnesses, and policy harmonization;

    • Qualifications
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English required;
    • Masters degree in business administration, finance or related area of study or equivalent work experience;
    • At least ten years progressively responsible work experience in managing complex donor-funded project(s), and at least five years of accounting, financial or operational management, procurement,
    • Minimum of five years of experience in USAID-funded program(s);
    • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with wide range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing;
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, willingness to innovate and ability to think systematically;
    • Proven experience in managing multiple and competing tasks while maintaining quality of deliverables within deadlines.

    Accountant

    • Qualifications
    • Minimum of Bachelors’ degree required in accounting or a relevant  field;
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 3 year within the International Non-Governmental Organization’s (NGO) sector;
    • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant accounting software;
    • Experience in CostPoint software strongly preferred
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment;
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
    • Fluency in English;
    • Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded programs a plus;
    • Strong attention to details and high degree of integrity, accountability, energy and flexibility.
