Cape Agulhas Municipality is inviting applicants to apply for their education bursary. The municipality is situated in the Overberg District, surrounded by the Indian and Atlantic oceans.
The bursary will target students that reside in the Cape Agulhas municipal areas who are studying in the following fields:
Architecture
Agriculture
Arts and Culture
Business Studies
Community Development
Civil Engineering
Community Safety
Environment Management
Electromechanical Engineering Services
Financial Management
I.T.
Human Resources
Legal Studies
Marine Biology
Tourism
Public Administration
Town and Regional Planning
Requirements for the Cape Agulhas Municipality bursary
- South African Citizen
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric in 2022
- Must be a resident of the Cape Agulhas Municipal area
- You must be studying in one of the fields of study above
- We must be looking at a recognised institution in South Africa
- The total household income of parents or guardians should not be more than R20 000 per month

Submit copies of the following supporting documents with your application form:
- Identity card
- Matric certificate if you completed Matric
- Grade 11 final results and Matric September 2022 if currently in Matric
- The latest academic progress report is currently studying
- Proof of application and admission from your tertiary institution on the school’s letterhead
- Details of your qualification, including study duration and course scope, Tuition costs, banking details and accommodation
- Motivational letter explaining why you should get the bursary
- Parents’ or guardians’ I.D. document
- Parents or guardians’ proof of income like payslips or affidavits if unemployed
- Proof of residence in the Cape Agulhas municipal area
