ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Mavambo Orphan Care (MOC) is a non-profit making organization established in 2001 to safeguard and protect children and vulnerable households from abuse, exploitation, and violence. MOC works with OVC, Adolescents, Youths, and their Caregivers through the provision of health, child protection, education, legal, parenting, economic strengthening, and nutrition. 1) HEALTH ADVISOR

Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or Public Health ,
• Experience in HIV program m in g
• At least 5-7 years traceable experience in implementing health activities in the OVC program m in g
• Knowledge of evidence-based violence prevention models is an added advantage
• Certified LIVES t rain er is desirable.
• Experience in training and facilitation in community-based care settings
• A self-starter with ability to work under work pressure
• Good writ t en and verbal comunication skills
• Workin g knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point .
• Must be a holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

2) EDUCATION ADVISOR

Qualifications and Experience:
• First degree in Education or Social Sciences
• At least 5 -7 years experience in supporting PEPFAR/USAID education programs
• Excellen t writ in g an d verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of virtual programming tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point .
• A holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

3) CHILD SAFEGUARDING AND PROTECTION OFFICER

Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work and active registration with the Council of Social Workers.
• Master’s in social work or any related program is an added advantage
• At least 5 years of recent professional work experience in PEPFAR/USAID funded OVC
program m in g
• Certified LIVES and VAC trainer is desirable.
• Excellen t writ in g and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the use of virtual programming tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

4) DISTRICT ACTIVITY COORDINATOR (DAC) (3)

Qualifications and Experience
• At least a first degree in Social Work, Public Health or Social Sciences
• Vast knowledge on health and social services
• At least 5 years of recent professional work experience in PEPFAR/USAID funded OVC
program m in g
• Experience in working with local structures, the community, and relevant Government Ministries
including Ministry of Health and Child Care, Education and Department of Social Development,
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of virtual programming tools
• Workin g knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point .
• A holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

5) ECONOMIC STRENGTHENING AND LIVELIHOOD OFFICER (2)

Qualification and Experience:
• Degree in Econ om ics, Agricu lt u re or a degree in related field.
• A related master’s Degree is an added advantage.
• At least five years of experience designing, implementing and monitoring household economic
strengthening and youth economic empowerment activities in the context of OVC programs. At
least 3 years of PEPFAR/USAID OVC programming experience is an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience linking youth to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities
• Experience in leveraging private sector partnerships an d resources for creation of bu sin ess
opportunities, business mentorship and skills training, and market access strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including Government
representatives, local community organizations and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success providing training, mentorship and supervision of community volunteers
and caregivers.
• Excellen t writ in g and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of virtual programming tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point .
• A holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

6) MONITORING EVALUATION AND LEARNING OFFICER (MELO)

Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant degree in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning or Social Sciences
• Experience in OVC MIS DHIS2 is a must
• Five years’ work experience in M&E, preferably in PEPFAR/USAID on HIV and OVC Program
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative research m et hodologies
• Experience in data analysis and data management
• Must be a holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

7) MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT (MISA) (3)

Qualification and Experience:
• A Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science
• Experience in OVC MIS DHIS2 is a mu st
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office operations and packages.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with OVC-MIS database system.
• Ability to produce high quality reports.
• Experience working wit h teams
• MISA will maintain proper security of all data, securing systems from unauthorized internal and
external access paying attention to database management.

8) EDUCATION OFFICER

Qualification and Experience:
• First Degree in Education or Social Sciences,
• Experience working with provincial offices, districts, and school authorities,
• Five years working experience in PEPFAR/USAID Education programming.

9) GRANTS OFFICER

Qualification and Experience:
• A Degree in accounting or finance, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, SAA or IAC
• Familiarity with US Government grant rules and regulations, procurement and auditing standards will be an added advantage.
• At least 4 years in a similar position with a program supported by PEPFAR/USAID and other international development funders.
• Proven understanding of awards management cycle.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage a complex workload and deadlines .
• Highly effective administration skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Strong time management and organization skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and
ability to work collaboratively on a wide range of issues.

10) GRANTS ASSISTANT (2)

Qualification and Experience

Degree in accounting or finance, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, SAA or IAC
Familiarity with US Government grant rules and regulations, procurement and auditing standards will be an added advantage.

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in case management .

13) ADMIN AND PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT

Qualification and Experience:
• Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain, or relevant field
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

14) DATA ENTRY CLERKS (15)

Qualification and Experience:
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, public health, social sciences, or any related.
• 2 years experience in data capturing (OVC-MIS DHIS2).

15) ACTIVITY GRADUATE TRAINEE (9)

Qualifications:
