Marketing and PR Officer
Key Job functions
Develop and implement effective internal and external PR and marketing policies and strategies that will promote business growth and sustainability
Develop and implement awareness campaigns to disseminate insurance product/service information that will promote Council’s role and insurance penetration
Coordinate business development and product promotion activities.
Develop and implement exceptional client services and complaints handling strategies supported by effective processes and tools
Build and develop strategic relationships and partnership with the media fraternity
Design and implement responsive crisis management strategy
Coordinate corporate social responsibility programmes and stakeholders satisfaction surveys
Develop and maintain healthy relationships with key stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
Coordinate product , market research and events management activities
Requirements of the job
The successful candidate for this post should meet the following criteria
Must be a holder of a degree in Public Relations/ Marketing /Business administration /Insurance and Risk Management or related discipline
At least 5 years working experience coupled with some appreciation of the insurance business.
Experience in brand management and marketing o insurance services and products will be an added advantage
Must have experience in working with social media as an information dissemination tool
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other relevant stakeholders
Strong communication skills , exceptional oral, writing and editing skills
